"The Water of Life" is based on the children's book by Jay Williams of the same name. The story revolves around Pilchard, a simple and generous fisherman, who lives near a beautiful river. One day he is summoned to the king who asks him to help find a mysterious magical substance that has the power to heal and to keep you young. A great adventure follows as Pilchard searches all across the land for the Water of Life. He meets a hideous Basilisk that he ends helping and as a reward gets 3 magical objects to help him get the Water of Life. But, Pilchard is so helpful and generous with all those he meets along the way he gives them all away. What will become of Pilchard and his quest?

Performed using rod puppets in our traditional style puppet stage, the story is told by a narrator with a ukelele and other instruments. We do this show as an assembly accompanied by our giant puppets and participatory drum songs. The 45 min. program costs $600 for 1 and $800 for 2.
